Our client is looking for a HR Coordinator for a 6 month contract based out of their Irvine office. The role is hybrid with being onsite 2-3 days a week. You'll have the option to join HR Konnect full time if you prove yourself!
About the Role
Reporting to the People Operations Director, this role will be critical in enhancing the overall employee experience through managing and optimizing various HR functions. Responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of people operations responsibilities, including employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining our HCM, supporting our benefits program, and managing and triaging day-to-day employee questions.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Provide high quality, timely and professional employee service and follow through to ensure appropriate action is taken
- Provide general support to employees on all People related questions through a variety of support channels including HR mailbox
- Manage all aspects of onboarding and offboarding process and partner with HRBP, IT, and other departments to deliver a world class onboarding experience
- Administration of employee programs including recognition and anniversary programs
- Oversee employee transaction related processes in HCM from onboarding through offboarding to include all data related to employee life cycle including job and data changes
- Maintain accurate employee and HR records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Create and maintain process documentation and support the streamlining of operational processes
- Monitor new hire background check process, following up with new hire or escalating to HR Business Partners as needed
- Establish and maintain strong cross functional relationships with HR functional partners and key stakeholders
- In partnership with HR Operations Team, understand the benefits program operation by assisting team members with enrolment program questions and furthering the health and wellness program initiatives.
- Assist with all manner of ad-hoc organizational projects such as compliance trainings, etc.
Factors for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience required
- 2+ years of experience in HR, with at least 1 year supporting HR operations and/or HR Shared Services
- Knowledge of legal and employment compliance matters as they relate to internal audit and controls, employee-related policies, and procedures
- Successful experience in the management of various HR systems
- Excellent project management and time management skills with an ability to efficiently manage multiple programs, projects, and tasks; highly organized with a systematic approach to accomplishing project deliverables and measuring success tied to business results and employee experience
- Strong problem-solving experience and capabilities, with a sense of urgency and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service focus
- Demonstrated presentation, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage complex issues to resolution through successful collaboration and timing/decision-making
